        I set roof inspection appointments to affected areas after storms and in regularly effected areas and people usually don’t even pick up the phone after you even get all their information, with a good sales pitch with good energy you can grab them especially with rebuttals and building need but I’ve found a problem with people saying I’ll be out of town or I’m gonna be busy all day maybe they will be, but usually if you can’t get at least one home owner at home for the next day, then 80 percent of the time they won’t even pick up the phone a couple days later

        @Evgeniya JZ ahahahahaha. That is right. But base on their dialogue the salesperson really made a fatal mistake in his approach. Hopefully he can change the attitude and focus on what the client’s needs rather than what he thinks what the client might need.

        Sometimes it’s not what you ask, as a closer, but how you ask it. Sincerity and conviction is key.

        If you’re saying the right things but sound like a robot reading from a script, you’re fucked.

        *A:* “Look, I really do appreciate that. Obviously there’s something here that isn’t right for you. What realistically has got you stuck? I might be able to address it right now.”

        If you said the above with complete sincerity, you would hear the real objection and get a second chance at solving the problem then and there.
